This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to SEO Pulse Pro — Website Traffic & SEO Analyzer (the “Extension”), published as a Chrome browser extension, and the related online services operated at seopulsepro.sbs and ws.seopulsepro.sbs (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to this Policy.

1. Overview

SEO Pulse Pro helps you analyze website traffic estimates and on-page SEO metrics for sites you visit. The Extension reads page structure (titles, meta tags, headings, links, performance signals) and may request public traffic data from third-party APIs to display insights in the popup. Most analysis runs locally in your browser; limited data may be sent to our Service for operational purposes described below.

2. Data controller

The Service is operated under the seopulsepro.sbs domain family. The public website is seopulsepro.sbs. Real-time API and service endpoints use ws.seopulsepro.sbs (the “Gate”). For privacy requests, contact us using the details in Section 14.

3. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Extension, we may process:

• Page analysis data — URLs, page titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, robots directives, Open Graph tags, heading counts, internal/external link counts, schema types, word count, viewport/favicon/charset/language signals, and resource performance metrics from tabs you analyze.
• Traffic estimate data — domain names you look up and aggregated traffic or ranking data returned by third-party data providers (e.g. SimilarWeb) for display in the Extension.
• Locally stored data — cached analysis results, recently analyzed domains, and Extension preferences stored in chrome.storage.local on your device.
• Extension identifiers — Chrome extension ID and, if the Extension connects to the Gate, a locally generated user ID (UUID) and install/uninstall timestamps.
• Device and browser data — language and basic hardware characteristics (e.g. CPU cores, device memory class) when authentication or diagnostics features are active.
• Network data — IP address, connection times, and WebSocket or HTTPS session events when the Extension or your browser communicates with ws.seopulsepro.sbs.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Display SEO metrics, traffic estimates, and performance insights in the Extension popup;
• Cache analysis results locally to improve responsiveness;
• Operate and secure the Service on ws.seopulsepro.sbs;
• Deliver service updates, health checks, and authorized configuration when enabled;
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of the Extension and Service;
• Record uninstall events when you remove the Extension, if an uninstall URL is configured.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Third-party services

The Extension may request public website statistics from third-party APIs (such as SimilarWeb) using the domain you are analyzing. Those providers have their own privacy policies. We do not control how they process requests originating from the Extension.

6. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

Where required by law, we process data based on contract (providing the Extension), legitimate interests (security and operation of the Service), and consent where applicable. You may withdraw consent by uninstalling the Extension and requesting deletion of stored Service data.

7. Transmission and storage

Data sent to our Service is transmitted over HTTPS and, where applicable, WSS (TLS). Messages between the Extension and ws.seopulsepro.sbs may use additional application-layer encryption tied to your installation. Data is stored on servers operated by the Service and retained only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Analysis cache stored in chrome.storage remains on your device until cleared by you or the Extension.

8. Sharing

We may disclose information only:

• To hosting and infrastructure providers under confidentiality obligations;
• When required by law or valid legal process;
• To protect the rights, safety, or integrity of users or the Service.

SEO analysis data relates to third-party websites you visit. We do not control those sites’ privacy practices.

9. Retention

Local cache and analysis history in the Extension may be cleared from Extension settings or by uninstalling the Extension. Service-side retention depends on configuration; contact us to request deletion of data associated with your installation.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and other measures designed to protect data. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

The Extension is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy. The version and “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes may be communicated through the Extension or on seopulsepro.sbs. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
